Next weekend is a big, busy one for our campaign—and your best chance yet to get plugged in.
On Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8–9, we’ll have our first September Weekend of Action, when 200+ volunteers will be in neighborhoods making sure voters know: Yes on 3 is a vote to uphold dignity and respect for our transgender neighbors.
These conversations are our best way to fight oppo smears and drive home to on-the-fence voters that there has been no uptick in safety incidents since these protections were passed.
Help us do the critical work of spreading a positive message to voters first, before our opponents lies sink in. Sign up for our Sept. 8–9 Weekend of Action.
We also need dozens of volunteers at Worcester Pride on Saturday, Sept. 8. We know the thousands of LGBT people and allies Worcester Pride draws will be enthusiastic Yes on 3 voters—but we have to make sure they know how critical it is to vote this year.
When I’m talking to our community I’m still sometimes shocked at how many LGBT people don’t know they’ll need to vote Yes on 3 this year to uphold transgender protections.
Help us spread the word about Yes on 3: Sign up for a volunteer shift at Worcester Pride.
And finally, we’ll have three new offices opening: In Worcester on Sept. 6 at 7PM and in Boston and Holyoke on Sept. 8 at 5PM.
